Tulsa Man Recovering After Being Shot

Tulsa police say a man is recovering after a shooting near Apache and MLK. Officers are still searching for the gunman.

Police say the victim is refusing to say much about what happened, so there's still a lot of questions that they're trying to answer. Officers say the victim showed up at the hospital around 2 a.m. Monday morning with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The man's Dodge Charger was found near Xyler and Boston and police say the vehicle had a bullet hole in the driver's door and another hole in the left rear door. Officers spoke with neighbors to find out what they saw or heard.

Corporal James Stump says the victim would not let them search his car and didn't give officers many details.

"The victim doesn't appear to be cooperative with officers so we're just going to process the scene and see what we have," said Stump.

Police say the victim's injuries are not life-threatening.
