Osage County Sheriff's Office Investigates Homicide

Osage County Sheriff Eddie Virdin said his office is investigating the death of 51-year-old Tracy Thomason.

Thomason was found dead in his home west of Skiatook where he lived alone, Virdin said. Family members discovered the body.

The sheriff said he believes robbery is a possible motive in Thomason's death, but the cause of death is still under investigation.

J.D. Bland lives down the road and says it's a quiet neighborhood.

"I'll just keep my guns ready and hope they don't mess with me," he said.
