Tulsa Police: 1 Dead In Possible Self-Defense Shooting

Tulsa Police say a man is dead after a shooting near 63rd and Peoria Tuesday evening.

Tulsa police reviewed surveillance video from a nearby store and say that the male victim was shot by a female. Police say video showed the man and woman getting into a physical altercation. Police say the man jumped on the woman's back but she pulled away and shot him twice in the torso.

The man was taken to St. Francis, where he later died of his injuries. Detectives are still looking for next of kin. The woman was taken to the TPD Detectives Division for questioning and police say she has been released pending further investigation. Police say this appears to be a case of self-defense.
