Owasso Police Arrest 'Erratic' Man At Medical Marijuana Dispensary

A man is headed to jail after Owasso police say he broke into a medical marijuana dispensary Tuesday morning.

Witnesses told police that Roger Reed, 35, appeared to be under the influence when he broke the glass front door of Mari Med and made racial slurs at employees inside. Witnesses told police that Reed then walked out into the street, took off his clothes, and yelled racial slurs at passing vehicles, striking several cars with a belt that had a large metal buckle. 

Police say Reed allegedly broke the windshield of one car while shouting racial comments at those inside. 

Police say officers arrived to find Reed standing in the street acting erratic. They say Reed obeyed officer's commands and was put in handcuffs, but became combative and threatened to kill officers. 

Police say he was taken to the hospital for evaluation. He was arrested on complaints of burglary, malicious harassment based on race, public intoxication, and wearing a mask in commission of a crime. 

Reed will be taken to jail after being assessed by medical personnel, police say.
