Guthrie Green Prepares For Day 2 Of 2019 Irish Festival

The 2019 Tulsa Irish Fest is getting ready to open in Downtown Tulsa!

St. Patrick's Day may be on Sunday but there are plenty of events going on in Tulsa on Saturday including the second day of Irish Fest at the Guthrie Green.

This is a free festival celebrating the music, culture, art, and food of Ireland. There will be several bands playing throughout the day, eight different food vendors and more than 30 other vendors. There is also a free kids zone that has face painting, balloon twisting, and other games.

This is one of several St. Patrick's Day Events events this weekend and there will be some road closures. The corner of Elgin and 1st Street will be closed for the McNellies' St. Patrick's Day Celebration. Elgin will also be closed from 1st to 3rd St. for the Arnie's Bar and Reds Bar St. Patrick's Day Celebration.

The family-friendly festival runs from noon to 8 pm.
