18-Year-Old Arrested In Broken Arrow Homicide Investigation

18-year-old Hayden Samuel Umdenstock has been arrested and charged with 1st Degree Murder in the death of his father.

Officers say they were called to a home near Elm and Kenosha around 1:45 Friday afternoon. They say the 18-year-old Umdenstock initially would not let them inside. When he finally did, police found 42-year-old Zachary Umdenstock dead inside.

Broken Arrow Police say they went to do a welfare check after a family member called and told them they hadn't heard from the homeowner for about a week. Police haven't released the manner of the father's death, and they don't know how long he had been there. The case is still under investigation.
