The Tulsa Police Department is one of just two law enforcement agencies in the United States to be invited to an international SWAT team competition.
The event takes place in Amman, Jordan in April of 2019 but it's going to take some money to get there.
It will take around $35,000 to cover the cost of an 8-man team. That's why TPD is looking for donations to make this unique training opportunity possible.
"We're dealing with military and law enforcement entities from around the world,” said TPD Captain Mike Eckert. “We are very interested in getting that kind of feedback and having that kind of interaction."
Officers say the competition involves a mix of physical activity, shooting skills and problem-solving. Tulsa Police Department released a video detailing their fundraising effort
