Detectives said Jenkins was found dead in a bush at The Arbors Apartments near 71st and Lewis.

Police said someone called them and said they'd heard gunshots, but officers didn't initially find anything suspicious.

But officers got another call a few hours later about a dead man being found.

Detectives are looking for any surveillance video that may help solve the case.

"We do have some leads that we're following up on. We do have some people of interest that we still need to make contact with, but this case is by far from what is commonly referred to as cold. We do have some good leads to go on," said Sergeant Shane Tuell.
