Tulsa Fire Department Holds Ceremony To Remember The Fallen

The Tulsa Fire Department is remembering firefighters who died in the past year.

The department held a ceremony Saturday afternoon at the Tulsa Fire Museum. They remembered the lives of 18 retired and active firefighters.

"We show the families that we will never forget their loved ones, who are still our friends. They have blood family that they have all their life but they also have a family within the Tulsa Fire Department and we want to let them know that we never forget them either," said TFD Chief Ray Driskell.

Firefighters in Oklahoma City will hold a similar ceremony on Sunday.
