Haskell County Deputies Chase Thieves Hauling Stolen Equipment

Haskell County deputies say one person is behind bars and they are searching for others after a chase involving a stolen piece of heavy equipment.

The Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a skid-steer being stolen.

Deputies say they spotted the skid-steer on a trailer behind a pickup and the driver led them on a chase, until the thieves ditched the pickup in a field.

They say they found Kristi Ivy nearby, who admitted to being part of the crime, and they are looking for others who were involved.
