Police Arrest Man Following Shooting At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Police identify a man officers arrested late Friday following a shooting at a Tulsa apartment complex.

His is 41-year-old Deangelo Bonifazi. 

At about 11 p.m., officers were called about a shooting in the 6600 block of South Victor.  When they arrived, officers found a victim who had been shot twice.  He was taken to the hospital.  Police say the victim is expected to survive.

Police learned the shooter was seen running away.  During a search, with the help of the police department's helicopter, they found Bonifazi hiding a few blocks away.

When questioned, Bonifazi admitted to shooting the victim.

Police booked Deangelo Bonifazi into the Tulsa County jail on a complaints of shooting with intent to kill and possessing a stolen firearm.

Jail records show Bonifazi has court appearance set for October 5th.
