Tulsa County Man Charged With Child Abuse By Injury

A Tulsa County man was arrested on a child abuse complaint Wednesday, September 26. Court documents say Donald Fry told the victim's mother the 5-year-old boy had bruises on his backside from falling off an indoor slide and landing on some toys.

When the mother questioned Fry, he admitted he spanked the 5-year-old twice with his hand, according to investigators.

Records state the boy told interviewers at the Children's Advocacy Center that Fry "busted" him twice because he and a friend were making too much noise while playing. A physician confirmed child physical abuse when giving the child a medical screening, documents state.

Fry is charged with one count of child abuse by injury.
