SCOTFEST is fast approaching, and Broken Arrow officials want to make sure the public knows the popular festival has a new home.
The celebration of Celtic art, music, food and athletic feats begins at 5 p.m. Friday, September 14 at the Events Park, 101st and the Creek Turnpike. Organizers say SCOTFEST had outgrown its previous location in Tulsa.
They say more than 25,000 people attended the festival in 2017, and Events Park is almost 10 times bigger than SCOTFEST's last venue.
There will be shuttle buses available - also known as the William Wallace Express - at the NSU parking lot. Buses will run on an 8-4 minute cycle across all four parking lots at 3100 New Orleans Street, a news release states.
The festival hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Go to SCOTFEST's website for full information including schedules of musical performances and other events.
