Tulsa Police arrested two people accused at firing shots at a grandmother.
According to police, officers were called to investigate a molestation claim at the Garden Courtyards Apartments Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
While there, police said relatives called the suspects to tell them they were listed in the investigation.
Police said those relatives showed up to the apartment and were upset about being listed in the investigation but said they left before police arrived.
Later that same day, police were called back to the apartment when a woman said a relative threatened her. They said an adult and a juvenile suspect were seen kicking the door of the apartment and going inside.
They said the victim and four small grandchildren went into the bathroom, locked the door and called the police. Police said the two men then left the apartment.
Just before 7:30 p.m., police got another call from the complex about shots being fired.
Police said the grandmother said the suspects returned to the apartment and the juvenile suspect pointed a handgun while in the main courtyard with kids around her and fired three shots.
The victim told police she fell to the ground to protect the children.
Police said the adult suspect, identified as 23-year-old Edward Scott, was seen driving a red Ford Mustang away from the scene.
Police eventually arrested Scott on a first-degree burglary complaint and the juvenile suspect on complaints of shooting with intent to kill and first-degree burglary.
