Man Wanted For Lewd Molestation Arrested In Wagoner County

A man accused of lewd molestation in Wagoner County has been arrested.

The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office says a woman told them Monday night that she left the girl home for a few minutes while Jeffrey Edkin was there.  They say when the woman returned she saw Edkin running from the young girl's bedroom while trying to pull up his pants.

Investigators say Wagoner Police located Edkin in Wagoner on September 11th and took him into custody.

“I cannot imagine the trauma that the victim is feeling,” said Wagoner County Sheriff Chris Elliott.  “I’m just grateful I have an aggressive team of investigators that were able to arrest this suspect…I would like to thank the Wagoner Police Department for their assistance in this apprehension.”

The Sheriff's Office says Edkin is currently being held without bond.
