A young woman is dead after a crash near Stillwater.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a car and a pickup collided shortly before 4:00 p.m. Friday on U.S. 177 about a mile south of Stillwater.
Troopers say 20-year-old Rebecca Brooner of Stillwater was at the intersection of Highway 177 and Boomer Road when she pulled out in front of a pickup traveling southbound on the highway.
According to troopers, Brooner’s car was struck on the driver’s side and she had to be extricated by the Stillwater Fire Department.
Troopers say Brooner was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
