A woman's dog alerts her to a fire in her Tulsa home early Wednesday.
Just before 1 a.m., firefighters were called to the home near 23rd and Yale after a woman smelled smoke and heard her dog barking. She got her mother, daughter out safely before firefighters arrived.
Around the same time, a neighbor noticed a glow from his front porch.
"I ran to the front door. I banged on it and yelled for anyone to come inside and I called the police and I made sure everybody got out of the house with me and their dog," said Ian Dooley.
Firefighters say most of the damage was to the home's garage, attic and roof. The fire also destroyed a car parked outside.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
