The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Owasso man died in a crash involving a semi on the Will Rogers Turnpike Monday evening.

Troopers say 36-year-old Michael Williams of Owasso was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash about five miles west of the Adair exit.

The OHP says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Troopers say both Williams' 2004 Toyota Camry and the 2019 Freightliner, driven by  Tony Collins, 45, of Pearl, Mississippi were westbound at the time of the 6 p.m. crash.

The OHP say Williams was pinned in his car until the Big Cabin Fire Department could extricate him at around 7:30 p.m.

Troopers say neither Tony Collins and a passenger in the semi, 25-year-old Torran Collins, of Bryram, Mississippi were injured.
