Fairview Woman Killed In Major County Crash

A woman is dead after troopers say her vehicle was struck by a semi and sent into oncoming traffic.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says three vehicles, including a semi, crashed Friday on Highway 412 near Cleo Springs.

Troopers say 74-year-old Karen Sue McKinney of Fairview was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

According to troopers, McKinney was traveling eastbound on Highway 412 and was slowing down to make a left turn when her vehicle was hit by the semi, pushing it into a vehicle traveling westbound.

They say the driver of the semi was not injured and the driver and passenger of the westbound vehicle were transported to an Enid hospital, where they were treated and released.
