A man convicted of manslaughter and DUI bodily injury after a crash on Highway 169 in 2014 will continue to serve his sentence in those crimes, the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals ruled.
Jack O'Donnell was driving under the influence of drugs when he slammed into the back of a Honda Accord while changing stations on his radio, records show. Eight-year-old Katelyn Chambers died in the wreck, and her father, Brad Chambers, suffered severe head trauma.

The appeals court also denied a petition from Watani Gleason who was convicted of first-degree murder in 2017. He alleged the trial court erred by not instructing the jury on a lesser charge of manslaughter in the death of Nathan Brooker.
Gleason shot and killed Brooker after an argument at Mama T's Big Easy Bar in Tulsa.
He will serve out his sentence in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
