Broken Arrow Girl Doing Well After Receiving New Heart

The daughter of a Broken Arrow firefighter received a new heart Wednesday.

Lizzy Teeter has struggled with viruses and heart issues for almost two years.  She has been in a St. Louis, Missouri hospital since June.

Her new heart finally came in Wednesday.

In a post on Broken Arrow Firefighters Local 2551's Facebook page, we learned the surgery is complete and went great.

Lizzy will celebrate her 2nd birthday in just a couple of months.
