Woman Cut With Knife During Argument, Tulsa Police Say

Police are looking for a man who they say cut his girlfriend with a knife late Monday at a Tulsa home.

Just before midnight, officers say they were called about an argument involving a man identified as James Simpson at a home in the 1200 block of North Yale.

The victim told police that during a verbal confrontation, Simpson cut her upper arm with what she called a box knife.  She then ran to a neighbor's home who called police.

Police say EMSA took the victim to a hospital to be treated for the cut.

Officers say efforts to locate James Simpson or the weapon have so far been unsuccessful.
