Tulsa Resurfacing Stretch Of 91st Street Underway

The City of Tulsa says a street resurfacing project on East 91st from Sheridan to Memorial begin Monday evening and will resume Tuesday evening.

Officials say the project is adding a half an inch of asphalt to that section of roadway.

Work began Monday evening and has now ended for the morning.   The process will be repeated starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday, ending Wednesday morning by 7 a.m.

During the work overnight, traffic on 91st Street will be restricted to one lane and then reopen to two lanes of traffic today, before going back to one lane this evening. 

Officials say the project is scheduled for completion Wednesday morning.
