Two Mayes Co. Women Sentenced In Oxycodone Overdose Death

<p>The U.S. Attorney's Office in Tulsa says a federal judge&nbsp;sentenced&nbsp;two women to prison for their role in the opioid overdose death of a Mayes County woman back in 2014.</p>

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Tulsa says a federal judge sentenced two women to prison for their role in the opioid overdose death of a Mayes County woman back in 2014.

Christina Dempsey and Jennifer Boyce will serve 8 and 10 years respectively for supplying prescription Oxycodone pills to Jennifer McNulty.

McNulty overdosed and died in October 2014.

The case against a third defendant in the case is still pending.

The US Attorney's Office said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Pryor Police Department, and the Mayes County District Attorney’s Office investigated the case.
