Tulsa police arrest a man suspected of robbing a restaurant.

Officers say the suspect, identified as Tyler Thompson, entered the No. 1 Kitchen on North Lewis Avenue and demanded money from an employee.

They say witnesses saw Thompson with his hand behind his back while demanding money, as if attempting to retrieve something.  Officers say he then jumped over the counter and grabbed the money in the cash register.

Police say they found a man matching the suspect’s description, Thompson, and he was identified as the suspect in the alleged robbery.

According to officers, Thompson had the amount of currency with him that was reportedly taken from the restaurant.

They say Thompson confessed to the robbery during an interview with robbery detectives.
