Police look for three men they say broke into a Tulsa duplex early Friday and shot a man who was living there with his father.
Officers say the robbery happened on Lakewood near 31st and Sheridan just before 12:30 a.m.
Police say three people in masks broke into the duplex and they were armed with guns. They made a mess throughout the home holding a father and son hostage, then shot the son in the leg.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
The three intruders left the home and haven't been seen.
K-9 officers and a police helicopter looked for them right after the shooting but could not find them.
Neighbor Cynthia Moore said she knows the victim and his family and she was heartbroken after hearing about the shooting.
"I think I'd just keep safer in the house cause these young guys seem like they just don't care anymore and I don't know what's the problem," said Moore.
Officers say you never want to challenge the bad guys in these type of situations.
"If you fight or resist, you're more likely to be hurt in the process," said Tulsa Police Cpl. Shawn Kite.
The victim said the intruders took off with his gun and his phone.
