John 3:16 Mission Hosting "Day Of Beauty" For Homeless And At-Risk Women

A Tulsa non-profit is giving homeless women a reason to smile.

John 3:16 Mission gave free makeovers to homeless and at-risk women Monday.

The women got their hair and makeup done by professionals as part of the “Day of Beauty.”

“So many of these women come in with nothing, except for the clothes that are on their backs,” said Reverend Steve Whitaker.  “We want to make sure that they really feel cared for and loved.”

To complete the makeover, the women then got to pick from gently-used clothes and accessories.
