Man Rolls Truck, Tries To Carjack Tulsa Drivers

Tulsa police arrested a man Friday afternoon after they say he tried to carjack people at a traffic light after crashing his truck. 

Police say Marco Laskey hit two cars before crashing into a third and rolling his truck near Admiral and Lewis around 3 p.m.

Officers say he got out and threatened paramedics with a knife and walked away.

He then tried to carjack people at a traffic light, according to officers on scene.

Police say that, while they were investigating the first hit-and-run, Laskey called 9-1-1 and told dispatchers his family had been murdered.

When officers arrived at his home, they discovered his family members had not been murdered.  Officers say Laskey's family told them he was acting erratically before he left the house.

Laskey was arrested on three counts of hit and run, assault with a deadly weapon, and vandalism.

It's not known if anyone in the other vehicles was hurt.
