Four people were taken to the hospital in a rollover crash on northbound Highway 75 near 71st Street Monday morning. An SUV and 1974 Chevy Malibu were involved in the wreck.

Police said the '74 Malibu had run out of gas and was stopped on the side of the highway. The driver was inside, waiting for someone to help.

The driver of an SUV swerved right to avoid something in the road and hit the Malibu, police told News On 6. The Malibu tumbled down a hill and through a fence. The driver was pinned in the car and was freed by Tulsa firefighters with the jaws of life.

He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

There were two children - 4 and 6 - in the SUV along with the adult driver. All three were taken to the hospital, but their injuries also are not life-threatening, according to police.
