Mounds Middle School Educator Honored As An 'Impactful Teacher'

News On 6 and Mullin Plumbing are recognizing another "Impactful Teacher."

Alan Crone and Stacia Knight went to Mounds Middle School to surprise teacher Alexandria Ruble.

One of her friends nominated her, saying she goes above and beyond to help kids.

Ruble even posted on Facebook one day when school was canceled because of weather,  telling parents they could bring their kids to her house if they couldn't find child care.

"I love my kids. I want to adopt one day and I feel like this is a really good way to start helping so, I love them," said Alexandria Ruble.  

Ruble gets a $250 VISA gift card.  Mullin Plumbing is also providing a 1-year platinum air package valued around $500.
