Tulsa Man To Stand Trial For 2016 Murder

A Tulsa man will stand trial for a 2016 murder.

On Wednesday, a judge bound Derrick Smith over for trial in the shooting death of Deranta Ponder.

Investigators say Smith and Ponder were involved in some sort of transaction when the shooting happened.

Ponder died two days later.
