Tulsa Memorial High School’s robotics team wins an award at a world event in Texas as well as a team from Victory Christian School.

Team 932 from Memorial and Victory Christian were in Houston, Texas, for the competition.

There are 8,000 FIRST FRC teams and only the top 25 percent make it to world, according to a news release. This year, teams from across the United States and 10 countries are competing.

The news release says Team 932 is the most decorated team in Oklahoma and Monday, the team added another accolade by receiving the Safety Award.

The 12-member Victory Christian team made it to the Einstein division and won the Imagery Award in honor of Jack Kamen. This was the first time for their team at the world competition.  Victory Christian says Team 932 was their mentor team eight years ago when their school started a robotics team.
