Court Appearance Set For Tahlequah Man Charged In Woman's Death

A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday for a man charged with killing an innocent woman during a police chase earlier this year in Tahlequah.

Prosecutors say 36-year-old Aram Catron killed Malinda Phillips, 36, of Park Hill in January, when he crashed his pickup into her SUV while trying to run from police after shoplifting incident from a Tahlequah Walmart.

Catron is charged with first-degree murder.
