Tulsa Jury Finds Woman Guilty Of First-Degree Murder

A Tulsa jury found a woman guilty of first-degree murder Friday. 

Broken Arrow police and the US Marshals Service arrested Sonia R. Weidenfelder in January in connection with the death of 39-year-old Debra Morgan.

BAPD said Morgan's body was discovered by a family member November 7, 2016, at her home in the 4400 block of West Quincy Street.

Weidenfelder was found guilty of first-degree murder. The Jury suggested a life sentence. 

She will be sentenced June 1st.
