Tulsa Woman Taken To Hospital After House Fire

A Tulsa woman is in the hospital after fire crews rescued her from a house fire Saturday.

Crews responded to the home near 66th and Peoria around 4 p.m. after a receiving a call from a woman inside the home. 

When crews arrived, they found the woman, in her 60s, in one of the front rooms and pulled her out of a window to safety, reports say. 

She was treated on scene then taken to St. Francis Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Firefighters say damage to the house appeared to be limited with the body of the fire concentrated to the front of the house.

The cause is under investigation.
