A more than $1.5 million bridge project near the Broken Arrow Expressway over Sheridan will start on Monday.
The project will last into the summer.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said it will remove a part of the concrete deck on the bridge and overlay it with more concrete.
They said traffic on the bridge will shift to two narrow lanes.
If you’re thinking the construction never ends, ODOT agrees.
"It never ends, and that's a good thing. We're constantly in the state of repairing and rehabbing our roads and bridges for motorists," said ODOT construction engineer Jennifer Bullard said.
ODOT said, starting Monday, expect delays on that section of the BA during busy hours.
Construction is expected to wrap up in late July.
