Students from Japan are getting a taste of Green Country this week.

The Tulsa Global Alliance is hosting 20 middle school students and three adults from Tulsa's sister city, Utsunomiya in Japan.  The city in Tochigi Prefecture is located north of Tokyo.

It's an annual exchange between the two cities.  The students live with host families, attend local schools and take part in different activities in Tulsa.

Wednesday they got a chance to meet some of the city's leaders.

"Today we're doing a little sightseeing we went to the Golden Driller, we went to the Tulsa Zoo, we went to the Gilcrease Museum," said Micah Keyan with the Tulsa/Utsunomiya Sister City Partnership.

This is the 26th year of the partnership.
