Police confirm a Tulsa man was stabbed multiple times while trying to break up a fight at his apartment complex late Tuesday.
Officers were called to the Ivy Manor Apartments in the 3600 block of East 32nd Street South at around 9 p.m. after a resident was stabbed during an altercation.
The victim's fiancee said it may have occurred over a parking spot at the complex. Shelly Boothe said the victim, named Thomas, was trying to break up a fight when the stabbing happened.
Police tell us Thomas saw two people fighting outside and tried to step in and help. That's when they say he got into a fight and getting stabbed.
"Apparently the guy said you're gonna get it now and came running at Thomas, so they got into it and he stabbed him twice in the chest and once in the arm," said Boothe.
She said Thomas is expected to be okay, and claims the suspect has been harassing them for at least two months.
Police are still trying to find the suspect, who they say drove away in an older blue and white Buick.
If you know anything about the stabbing or where the suspect is, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
