A heads up for Tulsa drivers starting Monday, March 19th.  A section of northbound Highway 75 in west Tulsa will be completely closed for several weeks due to a bridge rehab project.

Drivers who depend on Highway 75 to get to work will see a detour on the way north starting Monday.  From 41st and extending to Southwest Boulevard, the northbound lanes will be closed.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says this project is expected to last through early July, depending upon the weather.

ODOT suggests drivers exit at I-44 and head west to I-244, then go north until the Interstate highway merges with 75.

Expect delays and backups as drivers use the detour during the morning rush hour on Monday, March 19th.

ODOT says the bridge over Southwest Boulevard was built back in 1972 and is considered structurally deficient.  The rehab project will make much needed repairs.
