Woman In Custody Following Owasso Stabbing

Police say a man is recovering after officers say he was stabbed in a hotel room late Tuesday.  

Deputy Chief Jason Woodruff says a couple got into a fight at the Quality Inn and Suites near Highway 169 and 76th Street North.

He says the woman stabbed the man in the chest just before midnight.

The man called 911 and told them about what happened and that the woman had already left the scene.

Owasso Police say Tulsa officers tracked her down and took her into custody at a motel near 129th East Avenue and the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Woodruff says they are still trying to figure out all of the events led up to the stabbing.

Police say the man is in serious condition but they expect him to be OK.
