Woman Injured In 50 Foot Fall In Rogers County

An elderly woman is recovering after falling 50 feet on Thursday in Rogers County.  

It's not clear how the woman slipped off the cliff on the east side of the Verdigris River.  The location was about a half mile north of Highway 20.

Fire officials say the woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was flown to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out.
