Large Steel Plates Spill From Overturned Semi In Catoosa

A semi-truck lost a large load of what appears to be large steel plates on westbound Will Rogers Turnpike Tuesday morning. The crash took place near the Pine exit in Catoosa on a curve.

You can see long streaks on the pavement where the driver lost control of the truck then gouges in the pavement where the cab overturned. The truck is a flatbed, and the cab is labeled "Easy Trucking, Inc. from Plainfield, Illinois.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the wreck which is expected to take some time to clear. It did not block the entire highway.

Early reports indicate no one was seriously hurt, but we have contacted OHP for confirmation.
