Two juveniles and an adult are in Tulsa County jail after police say the two teens allegedly beat up an elderly man and stole his SUV Sunday evening.

Officers said the assault and robbery happened in the 1400 block of East 4th Street just before 8:50 p.m.

Police say the two juveniles attacked an elderly male, then stole his Ford Escape.

At about 9:30 p.m. officers spotted the SUV when it ran several stop signs near Apache and Frankfort.  They eventually caught up with it.  When it stopped, three people inside jumped out and ran off.  All three, a 16-year-old male, a 16-year-old female and a 21-year-old man were quickly arrested.

Police say the victim was shaken up but will be OK.

The two juveniles were booked into jail on robbery, larceny of an auto and resisting arrest complaints.  The adult was booked on a joyriding complaint.
