Man Arrested Following Shooting Outside Tulsa Club

Police arrested a man after a shooting outside a Tulsa club early Sunday.

He is identified as Jerico Maxwell, 28.

Police said the victim was shot in the parking lot of the Retro Club near North Peoria and I-244 around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

They said Maxwell left the scene, but police spotted his vehicle a short time later and took him into custody along with another person.  The also recovered a gun that was in the vehicle.

The victim went into surgery and there is no word on his condition.

Jerico Maxwell was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including assault and battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm.
