I can sum up my thoughts about our weekend weather in just two words: Get outside! We are in for some spectacular weekend weather across Green Country!
It’ll be nothing short of a beautiful Saturday as pleasantly low humidity levels remain in place. That dry air will allow us to warm up nicely again into the lower 80s for the afternoon hours with a light breeze and plenty of sun! Keep the sunscreen handy if you’re headed to the Tulsa State Fair during the day!
Winds become a bit steadier on Sunday, but temperatures will remain fantastic to wrap up the weekend! After another crisp start with lows in the 50s, we’ll again return to the 80s for afternoon highs on Sunday with more ample sunshine. Take the opportunity to enjoy any and all outdoor plans in this terrific weather!
A gustier south wind returns to start the work week, ushering in temperatures well above normal on Monday. It’ll feel closer to late summer than fall with highs in the upper 80s Monday afternoon.
The weather pattern turns a bit more active by mid-week as conditions turn muggier by Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of a weak frontal boundary. A few storms will be possible late Tuesday with an increasing chance of storms Wednesday into Thursday in a warm and humid airmass.
Despite that weak front moving in sometime later in the week, temperatures look to remain above normal through the end of the week. Fall air will again be somewhat delayed with highs in the 80s likely most days into next weekend! All you warm weather fans will need to soak up the warmth while we have it!
