Truck Driver Arrested Following Fatal Tulsa Motorcycle Crash

Police arrested a Texas truck driver Friday evening following a fatal Tulsa motorcycle crash.

He is identified as Nicholas Moore, 34, of Austin, Texas. 

Officers say the crash happened in the 3800 block of South Memorial at an on-ramp to the Broken Arrow Expressway just after 9 p.m.

Police say the semi was turning left to go westbound on the expressway when it struck the motorcycle.  In their report, officers said the unidentified rider had the right of way at the time of the crash.

Officers closed the intersection and ramp for several hours while they investigated the crash.

Police booked Nicholas Moore into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including negligent homicide and failure to yield.
