Tulsa Police Make Arrest In Woman's Stabbing Death

Tulsa police arrested a man Thursday in connection to the stabbing death of a a woman on Tuesday.

Police arrested David Jerome Silas, 29, who was an acquaintance of the woman, said Sergeant Dave Walker in a news release.

The victim was identified as 27-year-old Brittany Green.

Green died of at least one stab wound and was found inside the doorway to her apartment, Walker said.

Silas had felony warrants for his arrest on stolen vehicle and other property crimes charges, Walker said.

Silas was the last person to see the victim alive, police believe, and has been linked to her death.

Silas turned himself into the Tulsa Police Department Thursday, Walker said.

He was then arrested on a first-degree murder complaint.
