Berryhill firefighters have a new station.
Firefighters said their old one was too small.
Even though the building isn't finished, firefighters are already working out of it and already said it's better than where they were before.
For 30 years they were in an old building down by the high school but the new building is on 41st street.
They expect it will help with response times for many calls, because the population of the fire district is concentrated on the south side.
It's also along the future route of the Gilcrease Turnipike.
This protection district has a combination of paid and volunteers, so they need some living quarters and room for training, and they have both here.
The fire district will have an open house at the new building. It's at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
