Chickasha Man Dies In Car Wreck

A Chickasha man died Saturday afternoon after the car he was in swerved into the wrong lane. 

Ramo Bumpas, 35, was the passenger in a Suzuki traveling southbound on US 81 North of Chickasha when the driver, 28-year-old Celeste Keeling, swerved to miss a piece of metal in the road and hit a northbound Ford Focus.

The driver of the Ford, 53-year-old Karen Strong of Ohio, was hit on her passenger side. 

Keeling and Bumpas were both pinned in the car and required jaws of life to be removed.

Bumpas was pronounced dead at the scene, while Keeling and Strong were both medi-flighted to OU Medical Center in serious and critical condition respectively. 

The driver of the Ford was the only one using a seatbelt.
