Woman Shot In Leg As She Crosses Tulsa Street

Police are looking for whoever who shot a woman in the leg early Tuesday as she stepped off a curb.

The shooting happened at 1:40 a.m. near the QuikTrip in the 11000 block of East 11th Street.

Police said the victim had already left by the time they got there, but showed up later at a Tulsa hospital.

The 42-year-old woman told officers she was on the curb when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and someone inside shot at her.  The car then sped off heading south on Garnett Road.

There is no word on the victim's condition.

Police don't have a motive for the shooting.
